The

Gospel

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is God’s good news for you. The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Because of sin, the result is separation from God—“For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).

But God, in His love, made a way for you. Jesus came, lived a sinless life, and went to the cross for your sins. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). On the cross, He bore your guilt and shame.

He was buried, showing the full weight of death. But on the third day, He rose again in victory—defeating sin and death forever. “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day” (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

Because of His death, your sins can be forgiven. Because of His burial, your old life can be buried with Him. Because of His resurrection, you can rise to a brand new life. “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

But to receive this new life, you must respond.

The Bible says, “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” (Acts 3:19). Repentance means turning away from your old life of sin and turning toward Jesus. You are called to believe in Him, confess Him as Lord, and trust fully in His finished work. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

Once you repent and believe, you are invited to grow. This means seeking God through His Word—“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation” (1 Peter 2:2)—and building a daily, personal relationship with Jesus through prayer, worship, and obedience. He promises to be with you always (Matthew 28:20).

Salvation is not about religion, it’s about knowing Him. Jesus Himself said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
